"Never worry about numbers. Help one person at a time and always start with the person nearest you"

- Mother Teresa

"WeCan Trust is proud to announce the launch of an all-new initiative 'Free Education for All' as one of it's key charitable services. This initiative is crucial for our nation's growth, keeping in mind the socio-economic structure prevailing in India. It also highlights the great significance of education as an effective tool to fight prejudices and corruption prevailing in society.

There is no greater happiness than in nurturing and igniting a child's mind, waiting to get an opportunity to break the barriers and honing their latent talent. Let's take a pledge to do our very best and work towards making a marked difference to the lives of the underprivileged.

All-in-all the Right to Education is a part of modern day democracy and it is our responsibility as citizens of India to make sure that no one is deprived of this moral right".

Hailing from a middle class family, Mr. Robin A.S Raj understood the trials and tribulations faced by the unprivileged and needy. This marked the beginning of WeCan Trust in the year 2010. With continuous help and support from esteemed patrons, ‘WeCan Trust’ makes a huge difference in the lives of the downtrodden and the needy. The undying urge to make a difference is our dedicated commitment and the same passion has been instilled in all our energetic |volunteers. Let’s all pledge to bring back the beautiful smile missing on everyone’s face, after all a single and united effort can change the life course of many. ‘United WeCan Trust’

Robin A.S. Raj was born in Bangalore and belongs to a middle class family. His father was a Boxer in the Indian Army. Robin always dream to joining the Indian Army, but because of financial constraints his dream was cut short.

This was the primary reason for him to start his charity foundation ‘WeCan’ – a not-for-profit organization primarily meant for the unprivileged. Unable to join the Army, he got himself trained in Karate and qualified as a Black Belt. He joined as a Karate and Gymnasium Trainer in many schools, notably among them being Baldwin School, Bangalore, Kids Nest Hostel and Regent Gym. In the year 1999, he won the All India Knockdown Karate Championship. For the past 16 years, he involved himself in a lot of charity and social work. Before starting ‘WeCan’, he was involved in opening an organization ‘Ambedkar Welfare Association’ in the year 1996. Since then, he has been actively involved in working for the unprivileged class comprising of the poor, orphans and elders. This selfless act comes from his passion to serve the downtrodden and the needy. He has also tried his luck in politics as an Independent candidate, for getting the much-needed funds for his NGO, but was not very successful. Since 2006 he is working as a Bouncer in Taj Residency, Bangalore. His single-minded objective is to make a mark in the field of charity by supporting the unprivileged and the deprived.
